Merciless Mod 2 V3.4 Public Beta is out. Figured I'd give everyone a nice New Years present. Besides I had some time on my hands and did some cram seasons with beta testing/coding. I was unable to test as dedicated since my ISP is not opening up the ports or the router is too dumb to do it. Nevertheless, the mod runs fine in LAN and Listen modes.
It's far from the final release but it's a big jump forward from Merciless Mod 2 V3.3. The class based functions are far better and download size is a fraction of the heavily weight V3.3.
Change log would be too long to list. Just try the mod out against V3.3 and you'll see what I mean.
Gore mod is gone, however it's still got all the blood goodies.
Some stuff I'd like to do by the next release:
*Add the TNT back in and give to Snipers (V + A)
*More war effects
*New 3d models for ammobox, counterpart for six pack grenade, and maybe egghand grenade?
*Add in support for more gametypes and end of map vote. Example lts, lms, htf and ihtf.
*Anti-Camp, Unknown Solider renaming and other admin goodies.
*Stop players from dying when they switch classes.
Yes I had to make that thumbnail of those messed up bots, its a good laugh. But anyways the bots don't do it anymore.

Singleplayer version, PLEASE! :D
Merciless Mod 2 V3.3 is a major update from V3.2. You now can run Pure servers without crashing, new allied gas grenades and axis flame grenades, class adjustments, removal of some unneeded weapons (Depolyable MGs, Tommygun, MP41, Sten MK V)
I couldn't just "patch it" due to being such a large revision and some of the revisions was removal of stuff to lower file size a little.
Does this work with single player
No this is only a multiplayer mod. Later on I could make my own version of Merciless Matador (Single player mod). I should have no issues porting the custom weapons to single player as most models have been tagged.

The Merciless 2 v3.1 Patch fixes the dedicate servers crashing. This is a multiplayer mod.
to where do I download the files that are aki 1) Create a folder "merc3" in its main
"CoD2" on your server
2) Upload the following files to the folder "merccod2"
* Merc3.iwd file (client side)
* Merc3_svr_.iwd file (server side)
* Message.gsc
* Message.cfg
* Merc2config.cfg (admins run this file)
3) modify merc2config.cfg variables to configure the server
(Only for advanced users! The default should work fine for most)
