Well bad news. I will probably have to delate this mod.
I contacted EA, lucasart, and Disney to know if I was able to take inspiration from their game (the old republic).
And they said : no.
So if anyone know how to get the autorisation please tell me.
PS : the mod won't die if it is delate on mod db, I will work on it, and maybe, one day, if I have the autorisation, or if swtor is "dead" you will be able to download it.

it is a mod right? even if you take inspiration of something but did created it yourself without taking some **** from them why can't you create your game if its only a mod? i don't understand.
Because, just by using the name : Star wars, I am in illegality.
And it's pictures are copyrighted by EA, so if I make the same pictures (models, sounds, ...) I'm in illegality.
It's not because I make it myself, that I can do it ^^
Well it is actually a complecated thing, it can be considered fair use, by creating a mod, you are promoting the game, by using a already made universe you are also promoting this said universe, so as long as you don't get a no message from the original creator, and that you do proper credit you can defend your project as fair use. Sadly if you got a no already, I guess you have no choice but find a way to make them agree :/ before Disney buy out, all fan art, and creation was no turned down by lucas, but I don't know how disney want to do it. Hope you still will find a way.
Yes, I gave them this kind of arguments, but they still say no. So I'm waiting to see what will happen with the other star wars mods to know if I will finish mine.
But the the project is not dead, just in carbonite ;)
I think that if you don't sell your creations you can upload it for free
he has a point as long as its free it should be good shouldnt it
