So, boogglers. Booglerrrrs, boooooogglers, boogglies.
What do we know about them? Well, for starters watch your eyes after you reach level 8, whenever you are in an interior location. They love to appear out of floors, holes and walls and blind their victims with their toxic saliva. They always enter the stage in packs counting at least three members, easy to kill but showing off poisoned razor teeth that are hard to avoid. They have tasty meat but it's rarely salvagble since most of their body is seasoned in venom.
If you get tired of random encounters with them, then when you reach level 16 go to Searchlight mines and in one of them you'll find their breeding factory, Boogg. If Bogg dies, no more boogglers for you. Also, killing him lands you a chance to get a booggler of your own. Yep, your own booggler companion with some yummi features (Aaaand maybe a bit of unf00seen consequencies. Oh, and if you have Wild Wasteland he can do your hair).
Also, as an extra extra this mod has a new, rare type of super mutants, Radder, that you can encounter at some locations. Radders can be caught fighting other muties. Why? Well, maybe you'll find out in one of my other mods.
Special dankies to prodlimen whose Nexusmods.com resource was used as the base for boogglers, as well as all those films mentioned (And not mentioned) in the title that gave this mod its gig (And to Barracudo for saying "What if it had a companion named Boogie" (; ). Also, DcCharge for you know wha.
Hey there! Love your mods. I was wondering whether it is possible to reduce the duration of the blind effect when the boogglers spawn on you? Because it kinda make it a bit too hard for me, especially if I don't have companions to kill them while I run around XD.
Hello, thank you.
Is it possible? Yes. Will I do it? Probably not, coz they are intended to be hardcore unpredictable wildcard annoynce :)) (How many times they appeared in most inapropriate moments and **** everything up for me in my own playthroughs I can't even begin to count, and that's the fun of it). If I reduce the blind effect, then considering they are not that hard to kill (Even if deadly with their poison), and sometimes can be clumsy navigating the not so-flat surfaces coz of their size, they'd became too much of an easy prey for gunslingers.
