This Mod has a lot of potential if the creator would continue it on, I am sure a lot of people who have some experience would be willing to help out and get this mod rolling. I for one would even Buy this if it was a game itself. Just hope the creator will continue it, this is the first type of mod which adds more of a Melee style to it.
ok listen up bro i am not a good in mod making but this idea might work i have been thinking about this mod and i think that giving blades and shields to infantry might not be perfect as we want So like men of war zombie mods it will get easier to make zombie type infantry which dont need any blades in inventory As a zombie type or a vehicle type unit will do more good and will look more like real whereas humans/AI in men of war are dump for a Medieval war mod like some of them will change stance.
