Medieval Kingdoms: Total War is a total conversion of Total War: Attila with brings the game to the high middle ages, set in the starting year of 1212 AD going until 1453 AD. This mod will completely revamp the game with new factions, units and much much more! (Yes this is the same mod team as for the Rome 2 version.)

Much Doge, very wow
Did the Doge ever lead an army, outside of a few sparse occasions? I was under the impression that it would be mercenary generals (condottieri or the like). Old men don't move around on 15th century "roads" so easily...
Actually some doges did lead the army personally, for example, doge Andrea of Venice.
I'm sure a few did, but so did the Pope. Should we make the Pope the general for Papal armies? I hope not. As I said, old men don't travel well on 15th century roads. The Unit picture looks great, but it's going to be rather immersion breaking if I'm having the Doge himself accompany me on sieges of Crete...
It's up to the player to decide if they want to keep their faction leader as a statesman or have him become a general in the army.
I want to see the Pope killing heretics xD
The game set in the 12th century, and not the 15th. So i think that the roads will be even more bad for old men :D
