Mechcommander OmniTech is a standalone game based on Mechcommander 2 shared source code release by Microsoft. A game based in the universe of a great and fun franchise, a game with lots of tactical components and full of possibilities. There is no need for Mechcommander 2 installation nor disk.

Carver V (Original) (24 missions campaign) This is Mech Commander 2 campaign made by Mechcommander 2 dev team. Campaign mission brain files are changed to be compatible with Mech Commander Omnitech (most of them automatically).

the purchase list is off you can buy most mechs and those that yo cant are those listed under the vehicles tab on the encyclopedia.

For the first couple missions you cant buy the omnitech mechs. But in mission with the bandit convoy and first meeting with house Liao units the whole list is available. Except the listed mechs under the vehicle tab in the encyclepedia for some reason.

In the mossion when you salvage the davion mechs to attack the stiener base, the shadow cat killed a hollander at close range with the gauss rifle. Is that something new cause in MC2 long range weaps could not fire at close range (which is ridiculous because even in real life a long rane weapon can be used at short range)

In the mission when you salvage the davion mechs to attack the stiener base, after the mission neither of the weapons cashes you are supposed to get unlocked are, and there is a error message out of game about not being able to access the archive. any help?

Anyone have trouble getting the bandit leader to come out and play? I blew up the HQ, finished all the other objectives, but could not extract because it would not bring Vong out of hiding so that I could kill him. Any ideas?

Killdeer mission: Completion does not trigger after destruction of Convoy A & B. Therefore, I cannot progress beyond this mission without editing the mission files.

Mission 9, bandit leader not spawning no matter what order I complete objectives in, have combed the map looking for him, he's just not appearing. Cannot progress in game. Using build 559.

I think I tried multiple times, and eventually just sent my units all the way above the ridge to the top-right-most corner of the map. Ironically, I alt-tabbed to research this problem again, and when I tabbed back the Lao Hu and two Starslayers were dead and my mechs had taken a bit of punishment. Try that!

That is correct, enemy spawns at that location when you get nearby.

Mission 12 Killdeer Troubleshooting.
The first 2 Convoys (A and B) don't appear fully on the map. Therefore Mission Objective 1 & 2 cannot be completed. Very sad...

However you can go into your games folder then /data/mission
There you open the mc2_12.fit with the editor.

Scroll all the way down to

"[Team0Objective0]"

This block describes the mission objective 1.
Alter

ul NumConditions value from 13 to 0

because there shall be no condtions for the accomplishment.

After this block there are all 13 conditions listed meaning all the vehicles and mechs you have to destroy:

"[Team0Objective0Condition]"

Delete all the conditions.

Repeat the same for "[Team0Objective1]" and "[Team0Objective1Condition]"

Now you can win the Mission by completing objective 3,4 & 5.

Enjoy your progress in campaign ;-)

I was able to complete the mission without modifying the fit file by spawning a mobile artillery, moving it to where the roads begin at the top right of the map and force-firing it onto where the red radar dot is that you can see on the minimap.
