MeatBot is a multiplayer bot-mod for Call of Duty 2. The aim of the mod is to introduce A.I. to local multiplayer games so those who choose not to go online or prefer to practice against bots before doing so, can.

Seems that this mod does not support Linux dedicated servers because the mod is not being built by using dedicated servers , it's built for listen servers which are not good for mods.
I do not know if it was fixed with "no more "bots cannot be added more" error , since it's just an indicator , you probably won't see this messeage but the bots will also not appear , i did not tested the latest mod.
I have also tried to talk to the author via xifre and i found out he doesn't know anything about dedicated servers at all , well i don't want to blame him since he did such a good job without all the debug stuff that dedicated servers help you with , much easier to mod with dedicated server , I also found out his english skills are super poor so i basically couldn't explain him a thing. Somebody tell him to find a better translator than google.
But it works fine on windows dedicated server.
That's why you all get so many script errors, because there are many script functions not working since he didn't use DS to search for script error which would showed him where's the problem, so because of script errors you get lag and crashes.
:), Yes, i know, that my english is bad. And this mod work on linux/windows server. My bot server run in linux, and work, but stops between 1-2 days. (admin allways online) :)
You need to organize your files for dedicated server play , i have great experience with that since i made a popular Myth Mod in my country, it was a blast and it's big, but i had zero errors because of the active use of the parser that dedicated servers have , and also the use of "developer 1" finds additional erorrs however some errors can be ignored by and developer 1 is only for testing. Never use developer 1 for normal gameplay.
You need to make a server on your own at your computer , all the settings to run a LAN server so you basically test in real time , it' just a base to work with , and i did a good job not a lot of people knew or were organized as such.
You'll see that you'll fix a ton of lag with this , and also a lot of bugs , plus i don't even know how you managed to go this far without the dedicated parser it's just impossible to imagine , also listen servers make up their own bugs in which dedicated server doesn't have them , so when you're tryin to fix something doesn't work in listen server which is the server that you start when going into the game and pressing "start new server" - and then you test if it works in gameplay , you're probably fixing something that works on dedicated servers , but when you fixed for listen , it may do the opposite , and break in the dedicated ... it's just scenario i thought up it could happen to you but you gave me no information how the heck are you modding.
The mods are not tested with "going into the game and starting a server in main menu" that's not the right way ... if you want i can tell you , show you and give you all the necessary files for the WHOLE procedure it took a year for me to perfect that, to a real workstation.
