Maximum Velocity Paintball (MVPB), is an Unreal Tournament 3 paintball modification. We are dedicated to providing the most realistic paintball mod you will ever witness; with playing fields, markers, and characters based on real life our mod is almost a total simulation. The mod will feature realistic moves such as sliding, leaning, diving, sprinting, and crawl/proning. Other features include:

Right then, below is a list of first release goals. We'll be starting with a single pump marker for our first release, ensuring key parts of game play are created and implemented. As we'd like to see things progress with solid results, we aim to have a string releases, with each one building upon the original, so sorry if it's not quite what you expected for a first beta release!
Keep in mind we're literally starting over, new models, new textures, new everything, so our first release may take a bit, and won't have nearly the amount of work in game that we have renders and screenshots of online as most of it is old work.
Pump markers will automatically pump themselves for the next shot, but players must watch and wait as their character pumps the marker. Players need to keep track of their air and paint supply by listening to the marker, and watching arc of their paint in flight. Low air will sound different, and make paint lose the required force to break on impact. (yes bounces are planned to be a part of the game.)

Bunker/Field package with field essentials for public/fan use.
Field netting & supports, banners, start gates, excess ground paint, astro turf and good ol' dirt.
Airball bunkers including 2-3 color sets. (Blue/White, Red/Black, Yellow/Black etc.)
Tall Can/Standup, Brick, Dorito, Snake, Tombstones and Laydowns
Phantom Pump Paintball Marker (marker selection to be implemented in beta v0.2)
12g Co2 Cartridges (exchangable air)
Stock Tubes for extra paint & reloading
One style of each level of paint. (Practice-Grade, Mid-Grade, Tournament-Grade) -the higher grade the better you shoot... well we can't help you aim but you get the idea ;)

It's pretty much only a few people working on things atm... mainly myself ;) -which will change soon. Or rather right after finals, which is in 2 1/2 weeks. But for now, progress will be slow, so don't expect much else news wise for a bit. - Thanks.
