The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

so fighters are the new bombers or are the interceptors just faster versions of fighters?
It the ME universe, interceptors are anti strike craft, while fighters are anti ship.

As cool as this is, I sort of hope this isn't "to scale", the fighters would be huge and the Ascension would be tiny...
I understand there are limits of the game engine but it would be cool if you could scale the ships properly (like in SOGE the star wars mod, the fighters are frakking tiny and the ships are all properly scaled to eachother)

The Destiny Ascension is a dreadnought in the game
How will the Battleships' stats differ from one another? I would assume that the Kilimanjaro would be something of an ultra-powerful ship sniper, but weak in close combat and the Destiny Ascension would be the all-around powerhouse. Will it be something like that?
Well Battleships differ from other capitals there is a sub hierarchy of capitals in this mod. Capital - Carrier - Battleship - Dreadnought. Capitals are normal attack vessels, Carriers are a given, Battleships are more expensive and more powerful and require more research, and Dreadnoughts are the end all of tech, They are very expensive, armed to the teeth and capable doing some serious damage. But the research needed to get Dreadnought is the balance. It takes a lot of time and resources.
Uhm, only the Alliance has Carriers.
