The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.
With the Illusive man starting to put Reaper tech and scientists disappearing after a project, some of the people in Cerberus came to the fact that what they joined was no longer was about protecting humanity, but rather making humanity the most powerful force in the galaxy. Some people left quickly and quietly while others were rescued by Council forces. Then there are the ships and their crews that had to fight their way out. The men and women, deciding to go back to the Alliance had their ships painted with Alliance colors and vowed to escape and fight on or make a final stand.
