Don't shoot me, but it looks like a giant telescope. Now that I think about it, maybe that's what you were going for, does make kinda sense. Anyway, looks wicked! Literally.

Actually It was one of my older concepts that I posted on the forums. I didn't like that much, so I'm surprised that Lord_set chose to have it modeled. I'm posting an updated version of the model on the forums.

seen the new concept, needs more solar arrays and some sort of structure on the side, like a control room and barracks etc, some where for the crew to stay, know what i mean

The model itself is amazing. But what it needs is...something to hold it in place? Like maybe have it anchored to a few asteroids, that or like a station on one side of it? Just an idea. Love it though!
A super weapon? That doesn't really look like a weapon at all. Only thing I can think of is some giant, telescope-looking bomb.
I don't wish to be super-critical but it could use something more, some kind of electrical/mechanical doodats on it. Other than that it just looks kinda bland, no offense, it's still cool, just a bit empty.
personally i have to agree, it is kind of 'flat' when looking at all the other ME ships they all have antennas, conduits etc.
but it kind of reminds me of the grenades the germans used in world war 2 and the spike grenade from Halo 3, know what i mean
edit like the name car package though, makes you feel safe, then it shots at you, you then dont give a care in the galaxy after your fleet has been wiped out
I chiefly like it. I would, however say that the taper on the thin end is like to play tricks on the perspective, so it might not appear straight when it in fact is. I have used this excuse with my girlfriend many a time.
but being serious, it might be good to have a more obvious modus of turning, or aiming it (if in fact that's what it needs to do)

From the examination of the picture in HD view it fires a very large object in shell form and when the round is fired the shell is ejected. So basically a giant space sniper rifle.
After looking at it long and hard, it has actually quite grown on me.
I'll stop making terrible puns now.

it does look like the old fashioned Battleship Barrel.
It is also structurally sound for Mass Accelerators.
it's design is I suppose either Purportedly or sub-consciously well designed for massive amounts of energy being expelled in one direction.
Thanks, exactly what I was thinking when I designed it.
I am pretty sure it is supposed to look non threatening, hence the name C.A.R.E package.
Overall it is very nice, and terrifying to be on the wrong side of. The hexagonal shape to it is very Cerberus and it does look sleek and deadly, it's growing on me and I thinks I'll withdraw my comment about adding doodats to it, it looks pretty awesome as is.
Now, give me a ship that has 2-4 of these strapped to it... Duct tape is acceptable...

Cant it have some additions on it? Like a thrusters to actually turn to face its designated target? This is too plain in my opinion.
It was a really early concept of mine. Trying to make a better looking version now. Don't know about how I'll incorporate thrusters though.
It looks good but it also feels like its a bit naked with only the "Cannon" I guess you could call it. I think it could use something more, maybe continue adding more stuff to it?
So it's anything but 'caring'.
