The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.
In contrast to the previous Batarian Dreadnought, which was heavily based on ME2 concept art, this newer version follows a more organic aesthetic. After close examination of what little canon art we have on the Batarians, we have decided the new aesthetic for the Batarian roster will predominantly feature soft geometry with hard edges.
Having an economy dependent on slavery,Batarian weaponry heavily emphasizes keeping your target alive. The weapons on Batarian warships are no different. More information to come soon!

looks like they stole and rebuild a quarian ship, mixed with a portal ....
In the current public release, the batarian ships are based off unused migrant fleet concept art. Our old thought process was that the quarians probably purchased allot of their ships from the Batarians.
Our new thought process is we want to keep the same aesthetic from the concept art, but improve it so they are more inline with established Batarian lore.
OOOOOOOH nice take and improvement on concept art. Still would love to see your take on a Blood pack Krogan design.
