Dawn of the Reapers 0.7.1 Divisions
This is a BETA version of the mod. Many features and art assets are incomplete at this time.
A proper release article with features, and bugs will be posted within a day.
Install instructions
Extract the DOTR folder into your Mods-Rebellion v1.85 folder (if your Mods Rebellion version number is anything higher than 1.85, that is fine as well) - Once the extraction is complete, open the DOTR folder and find a file called DOTRHOME.bat - Move DOTRHOME.bat into your Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion folder, usually found at C/Steam/Steamapps/common/Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. - Open Sins of a Solar Empire, go to Options > Mods and enable DOTR. - Once the mod enables, I recommend you restart Sins to ensure maximum stability.
State of the Mod
Many things have changed since the last public version of the mod. So many that a changelog is virtually impossible. Some current new features are new UI, sounds, infantry system, and many others that will be covered in depth in the near future.
New Factions
With this version of the mod there are two new factions. The Systems Alliance, and the Terminus Mercenaries. These factions are still very rough, they are PLAYABLE. The bells and whistles though are still somewhat missing. Feel free to play them but please keep in mind they aren't final.

We aren't interested in hearing complaints about The Reapers, given their unfinished and unfocused nature.

so will this ever not be reliant on the dlc or is this a big screw off to mass effect fans who dont have money for that?
We thought we fixed it with this release but we have the dlc and no way to check if the fixes work. Which DLCs does it say you need?
i didnt know you updated it to work without it i will check and see
also i didnt mean to sound rude at all its just i played this when you guys first released the earliest version then you changed it to be dlc reliant and i was supper sad
We didnt do it on purpose, to create the mechanics necessary to make the mod work properly we had to use functionality hidden behind the DLC.

Hey whats the deal with the factions, ive tried to play this, like long ago, and it wont let me select the reapers, or any other factions accept the very first one!
hit the arrows on the selection slider, that simple.
I can't seem to find the DOTHROME.bat file? Did I do something wrong?
Hey, I downloaded the mod and extracted it to the mod folder, although, the DOTRHOME.bat file does not exist. But when I opened the game it was already using the mod without me telling it to use it.
I was wondering if this might cause problems since I don't seem to have the DOTRHOME.bat file.
I am trying to mess with the stats of some ships for myself, I am trying to change the coded files from BIN to TEXT so I can edit them then switch them back so the game runs more smoothly but the executable I usually use wont work (it keeps them as BIN and wont switch it to TEXT), it works with any other mod I have for Sins. Is there some program that you guys use to switch them? or something else, anything helps. Thank you

I found the Reaper faction has no ability to colonise world other than their starting home world. Hope to see this corrected in the next updated.
