MKS is now an opened project ! news - Mario Kart Source mod for Half-Life 2

Since today, Mario Kart Source is now an opened project !

What does it mean ? Every progress made by the team is now instantly viewable on the forums by everybody. You can now see the latest progress from coders, the latest new map, the latest new music and more without restriction !

The objective of this big change is to attract more people on the project. When the Dev Team still continue to produce most of the work, community can also help, and why not have his work included in the game ! This will make this project a real community project, where everyone can contribute providing ideas, creations or even just encouragement :)

Now just go on the forums and have a look on all the topics ! Most of them were in a private section before, and you may find here exclusive contents. But keep in mind that everything you will find in may not be included in the game, especially for some maps which where only tests and not final projects.

Note : the Pit Crew, a group of people who donated for the project, will still have advantages, like earlier access to playable build. Remember that donations are here only for hosting purposes. This help Joker, the owner of the website domain and the original creator of Mario Kart Source, to pay the hosting. Thanks !

Another thing, we just got a new developer : Hideous ! He's a good modeler and there is a big chance that you already saw one of his work if you're a Team Fortress 2 player : the Western Wear hat is one of his creations ! Welcome him to the team !
