Featuring British, Australian, German and Italian nations, choose from a range of authentic weaponry or crew 1 of 10 fully realised vehicles. With 8 different battle environments the game play is varied from gritty street to street fighting in urban surroundings, to all out tank warfare in the open desert. This is North Africa, but not like you have seen it before. On the 17th October 2008, Mare Nostrum became the first, third party game MOD to be made available on Steam.

Steam has undergone a large update and now you can create your own personal profiles (via the community tab), create and join steam community groups, create a friends list, partake in group and voice chat and it even supports 3rd party game launching" (just click games and "Add a non-Steam game to My Games list")

We hope to make the Mare Nostrum group one of the hottest in the Red Orchestra scene and so to reward all members who join we will be releasing the next media update on it 24 hours earlier than anywhere else!
