MapMixer is designed to give you more control over the way you launch and manage your game session in Unreal Tournament 3. It replaces the the game's Main Menu and let's you launch either a quick-offline match or a complete session where every map is specifically customised - or randomised. It's a whole new way to manage your UT3 experience.

Description

MapMixer Factions

MapMixer supports its own internal Faction System, which is quite separate from the standard Factions in UT3. Using the MapMixer Faction Editor requires no confusing manual ini file editing and it's easy to assign newly downloaded and installed characters to existing or new Factions.

Faction Editor - Character Attributes

Every Character's AI Attributes can be modified from within the Faction Editor - again requiring no manual ini file editing. In fact any changes you make here are safely kept separate form the original settings that the character came with when you installed them, so they can be reverted to (select and press F5).

As well as editing the AI attributes, you can also modify the 3D Parts that are available to use with that character. There's a button labelled 'Parts' which opens up the Character in MapMixer's 3D Character Customiser. You could even 'clone' an existing character and give it a unique name, AI Attributes and customise it Parts.

There's also a parameter called 'Skill Modifier', which can be a decimal value that is added to the Character's overall Base Skill level in a match.
