This total conversion aims to recreate the upper Shinra tower as shown in the 1997 RPG Final Fantasy VII in full 3D.
This is the elevator that services the lower floors of the Shinra Building (1-59); it's currently a WIP although it is in game. Obviously it'll have a proper door when it's finished, that one is just there to allow travel to it while it's a WIP ;)

It was originally was based off a model made by anaho from the Qhimm.com forums. Since it was quite a high poly model (+400,000), I ended up replacing most stuff in a sort of Theseus' Ship style modeling. Still, I found it more useful than starting completely from scratch. The current model is about 3,500 - 4000 polys.
Oh ah having flashbacks over here, great work that looks really awesome. Is that actually ingame because it looks like a render but even then it still is awesome.
