THIS MOD IS RELEASED, some changes/new features may be added, but it is not likely.
Mod features:
general
- no health regeneration (HARD difficulty only)
- a bit more durable main character (but no Terminator), it is a must with no health regen
- better responses for getting hit by a car
- in cover, camera is close to the player, making peeking more harder
- damage camera effects amplified to compensate for lack of hit response animations
- revisited police offences system
- no screen fading filters until player is at the very edge of death
- more forgiving height damage for falling
- enemies drop less ammo (HARD difficulty only)
close combat
- a bit faster pace of brawling
- more cunning AI
- some extra anims, unused in retail (AI only ^_^)
- one extra feature which should have been in retail in the first place
firearms combat
- less spare ammunition (you have unlimited inventory, take advantage of it and equip yourself before a mission)
- damage revmap, grenade is now really grenade...apart from the fact I coudn't turn off friendly fire -_-
- accuracy revmap, small firearms are not sniper rifles, sniper rifles are now sniper rifles
- kickback revmap (beware of shotgun ^_^)
- revisited HankB fuel tank and gasoline station explosions;
- smarter AI
cars
- all cars have minimal three tumblers now
- Derek now accepts more cars types (but still those cars have to look somewheat classy)
Easter eggs
- three of them, all can be experienced in a city when roaming in between missions

I like the mod's idea, but there is not a lot of ammo to carry for each weapon, especially with the lack of weapon variety of the early episodes, and the recoil is very high. Anyone have an idea how to edit the mod as to remove those two features, so I can enjoy this mod a lot more?
i beat the game with the mod, and trust me, those two are the LEAST of your concerns. The mission layouts have been made with regenerating health in mind, making it very very easy to get killed (hard as hell)
Recoil isn't bad if you shoot slower, which you would want to do if you have limited ammo. But in my experience i never got to live long enough to waste all the ammo. Killing Derek is hard AF proud of myself for beating that clusterfuck of a boss
The campaign ain't my problem. How am I going go "gung-ho" against gangsters and police in the street for my own amusement, when I don't have enough ammo to do so and the recoil won't give off that impression? Sure the mod, even outside the "features," doesn't encourage that playstyle, but I can just adapt if needed. Just that the "features" doesn't give a good taste to mouth.
i don't suppose someone knows how to change the crosshair this mod uses in it's ingame_gui.sds ?
The recoil is WAY TOO BRUTAL, not only that but you have to manually compensate for the recoil. Either make it kick hard alone or keep vanilla recoil while removing the automatic reset.
And the camera is way too close as well.

Which file do you edit/remove to get rid of the camera edits?
Hi, very good mod, but there is one annoying thing and that is whenever i loose like half my hp the screen start going black and white (you know when u are near death experience and u hear vito's heart beating) and it stays like that till i eat something. It's really annoying is there any way to fix that? Except from that it is a really creative and great mod.
