The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

Highlights Rebellion (Release 7) 10/09/2013

* Updated to new patch, v1.8
* Updated for new DLC, Stellar Phenomena
* Bug fixes (see below)

Research
* Rebel Replicators - fixed planet bombing research bug
* Planet types - fixed research for planet colonization for non-DLC
* Fixed Advent research bug for Giant Planet colonization

Balance
* All players now start with 2 frigate factories on game start. (This helps the AI tremendously.)
* Reduced Dreadnought firepower and slightly adjusted Hull and shields
* Reduced the total number of mines allowed on Planets and Stars

Other
* Fixed Ancient and Ring worlds orbital build radius
* Fixed missing strings for new DLC
* Fixed some of the pirate ship icons
* Updated meshes for vanilla planets so textures are correctly wrapped on planets

Do you get the mini dump logs or should I send them to you? I had sysint running to check RAM usage and patched for the x64 but I get a mini-dump about 5-10 minutes in each time I play.
