The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

The Cygnus is built for speed and is designed to penetrate enemy fleets and orbital infrastructure, causing maximum damage.
No offense but i dont exactly see a ship that emphasizes "speed" but i digress. To me it looks more like an anchor ship that holds down a critical sector in the battle
It doesn't matter what it looks like in space there is no aerodynamic drag there, as long as it has sufficient propulsion and energy to maintain it, it could be the fastest ship in the game.
I know that but the engines themselves look small for this ship to be high speed hard hitting ship it is.
Wasn't this the Octinev? A splendid model, I dare say the ship fits the TEC more than the Trade Alliance. Thats just my oppinion though.

... the more powerful looking version. I would love to see 4 laser turrets from the TEC Rebel titan in front top⊥ or 2 missile pods on the sides...
