The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

I hope everybody likes pirates
well that sounds neat. pirates aren't as organized as the factions so its normal for their to be some chaos in their ranks.
It also helps in balancing out their numbers.
and makes for some cool watchings if only i had a stealthed frigate to watch them with :( thats the only thing this mod doesnt have *wink* *wink*
if you play as the Norlamins their colonization ship has the ability to see other planets for a decent amount of time when upgraded also it would be awesome for different pirate faction like in old history some groups of pirates would attack another group of pirates

Yes it would, but unfortunately Sins doesn't allow that level of control.
yea i hate that lack of control especially when it comes to fiddling around with the AI
