New Worlds of Maelstrom
Colonization of a Dyson World results in a massive stimulation of all construction work and also rapid population growth.
A network of energy projectors is installed on the surface of the Dyson sphere. Under hostile attack they can suppress the shields and weapons of enemy ships.

The inner sphere rotates relative to the outer ridges of the model.
so has this been released yet or are these new planet types just a sneak preview?

Death Star? It's a Dyson Sphere. It's basically a giant metal case around a star to effectivly gather all of it's solar energy. Not only that, it looks awsome too :)
