Adds Thomas Macabee from the Dark Crusade campaign to the Necron race.
(Woumb Spiders,... Effectively what happens when pregnant necrontyr were forced to undergo biotransference, came out disfigured and insane, were then discarded as failures and "rescued" by the outsider who periodically "improved" them, sometimes deploying them and 'their offspring' in battle)
Combat stress causes Woumb Spiders to repeatedly birth Woumb Scarabs (necron scarabs who are actual necrons) which they internally fabricate by absorbing material from their immediate environment (e.g. the planets atmosphere, the water you ran through while escaping, the wall you were just standing behind, the rest of your guard platoon, …), these 'scarabs' will occasionally mature into warrior-like entities called Inheritors and form into squads of their own.
Just one of the many 'Friendly' inhabitants of the 'Dyson Sphere' ready to Help Macabee on his Quest "to usher in a new era for Humanity", "a new empire free from the horrors and oppression of ..LIFE.. under imperial rule...."
Very good
is this canon or fanon?
It's something of mine, loosely based on a mix of my own idea of what an insane female necron wraith might be like, the abnormal tomb spider from a Ciaphas Cain story I read once and a very old necron spyder concept artwork I once saw from before the tomb spyder design was finalised (probably from around second edition) (admittedly though I'd probably be quite happy if some derivative of these did somehow become canonical in some way, like that guy's 'megalith' model conversion apparently did after some tornament, it would be fun to have the pariahs back and some Outsider / Void Dragon specific troops for tabletop WH40K)
