Campaign Map

Faction List :
I-Basileia Rhomaion
About :
Basileia Rhomaion (Imperium Romanum or The Eastern Roman Empire) is the name of the name of what remained out of the Eastern Roman after the General fragmentation, it consits just of the Theme of Thrace, and its capital is Constantinopole.
Like some other successor states and its western counterpart (S.P.Q.R), Basileia Rhomaion venerates Sol Invictus, so the state religion is Solar-Imperial with some Solar-Christian and Orthodox influences in Constantinopole and Adrianopole, and even a Hellenic majority in Selimbria.
Units :
(mostly TBD but some are done)
Early "Medieval" Era
Auxiliary Archers

Those soldiers wore the loriqua squamanta armour and a galea as helmet.Their armour is outdated beacouse, after the General fragmentation, they choosed to serve the emperor(not like other provincial units), and for "patriotism" the emperor choosed to keep their old armour, even if the generals of the army opposed this ideea, they kept the armour (its like france during ww1, everyoen had camouflaged uniforms, but beacouse of "patriotism" the french ket their blue uniforms), this type of outdated armour of elite units of a neo-imperial country is called (by me) Neo-Romani loricam.
Skills : They are elite soldiers so they recive the best training, they are the best archers (as skills) that a Successor state has, they hide very well during winter, or in desert, but they cant hide so well in the forests beacouse of their glossy armour. Cheaper than other elite units
Disadvantages : Bad and outdated armour, slow speed.
Malleo Legion

They wore the well known Lorica segmentata, and they have a mail coif on their heads, as weapon they have a great warhammer "Malleo", and as shield they have a "Modernized" Version of the scutum(Pink colour for Basileia Rhomanion.Like other elite soldiers in the Successor State's armies their armour is a Neo-Romani loricam type of armour.
Skills : Verry good attack and charge and somewhat good defence. Cheaper than other elite units.
Disadvantages : Slow speed, outdated armour (for body and no armour fot the legs).
Militia Equites

They are militia, verry cheap, almost unusefull with support of better soldiers. They wear cloth or leather armour, some are lucky and they have a small bronze torso armour.
Advantages : Cheap,good charge.
Disadvantages : Very bad quality cavalry, small damage, bad armour, no shield.
Militia Archers

They are militia, verry cheap, almost unusefull with support of better soldiers. They wear cloth or leather armour, some are lucky and they have a small bronze torso armour.
Advantages : Cheap,.
Disadvantages : Very bad quality archers, small damage, bad armour, short range.
Tsekoúrnikoi

The Tsekoúrnikoi are elite soldiers, they are mostly German mercenaries, but some soldiers are Bulgars or German citizens of Basileia Rhomaion
Advantages : Verry good armour, defence and morale. Powerfull attack and charge.
Disadvanatges : Slow movment, verry expensive, rare.

P.S - Sorry for my inactivity, for now i will try to make as much as possible.
Hei, while you work/wait for this mod to be completed, maybe you could join our multiplayer LOTR, rather small, community? We play this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/heroes-of-battle
how i donwload this mod?
Is work in progress.
I think that making a regional campaigns is abetter idea than a global one. Simply beacuse there are some limitations in modding Medieval II. There are so many religions in the Lux Invicta and nations that the game can't handle them all. So here is my thought. One campaign in Britain with parts of northern France and so on. That way most of the nations will be covered and explored, of course it will take a lot of work and time. It's only one of many directions, and it's a mine advice. Best luck!
Dont mind if i made some mistakes. I am not a native speaker.
Thats exactly what i tought, and i already seen that religions can be added with some little limitations, and new factions are something else, many mods have many nations, but lux invicta is just, huge and speaking of factions, there are dozens, and after finishing this campaign in the balkans ill try to see the limits of the game.
30 nations can be in game plus one rebel and sadly only 7 religions. The map can contain around 199 provinces.
30 nations, 24 as default, that means i can add just 6 factions. 7 religions and provinces aren't rlly a problem. That means i have to add the most important factions, if i want to make a world map.Well we'll see, thanks.
could we get venice so we can get the Genius decendant of Marcus Aurileus? also its a shame theirs no Brittian. No Sarmation Brition Pendragons for me... lol it looks good man good luck
Well for now i make just a part of eastern europe and italy with some anataolia, for the earliest version, later we will see the father of Arthurius :D, also ill add as many factions as possible, in the end well see most of the world, ill try to add america and asia to the story, but till then, ill have this for now (ligther work :P)
Hey man I understand. If I can help with some Unit descriptions or stat work i would. I love Lux Invicta and would love to help out.
