The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

Two games i recall seeing the Sten is the "Spearhead" expansion for "Medal of Honor Allied Assault", and on "Hidden and Dangerous 2", in the case of the latter, it also featured a wonderful De Lisle Carbine, a .45 ACP integrally silenced bolt action rifle that uses Colt 1911 magazines.
hint...hint :P

-return to castle wolfenstein enemy territory

-call of duty (2003)

-call of duty finest hour

-call of duty united offensive

-call of duty 2

call of duty 3

-bot hidden and dangerous games (the second is a master piece wish there was a 3rd)

-cant recall correctly but i think in the old day of defeat

-death to spies

-death to spies a moment of truth

MoH: Spearhead is probably one of the few games that has the Mark V variant, which has wooden stock, pistol grip and foregrip.
Vietcong included the Mark IIS in the Fist Alpha expansion. Vietcong 2 also had the Mark IIS as per standard.

Yea, the STEN resembles the 'Bastard Pistol' from the Metro-Series.

Awesome work guys :D

You'd think people would try to make SMGs in Metro L:L, but no, the closest we got was the "Baesterd Gun", in a very non-smg caliber.

*sigh*

You'd think someone in the metro would try to re-make a STEN, due to it's incredibly low cost and 9mm being everywhere. I'm surprised that people aren't trying to 3D print the STEN gun.

Actually, in LL you CAN make your own MP, even in .44 Cal.
But only near the end of the game, after 'Depot', the Hanza sqad trader can add an 'Auto-Fire Adapter' to your Lolife pistol. With the stock & grip combination it will be a powerful gun.

Metrovideogame.wikia.com

But yes, actually I would expect far more SMG's since the only 'real' threat are nosalises and rats, without any protection...

I really like the realistic "weathering" and dirt of your textures! Not just random rust or scratches on weird places. Your looks like used and fully working weapons not some crap from swamps that would explode on first shot. :)

Simply stunning.
But even a beautiful model must be discarded if animations don't do it justice. I am really looking forward to seeing this one ingame!

I hope the hand animations aren't going to grab the magazine and use it as a handle.

THAT'S NOT THE PROPER WAY TO HOLD IT, AND THAT'S HOW IT JAMS. IF YOU YANK TOO HARD ON THE MAG, THE GUN CAN'T FEED PROPERLY.

The difference in this game is that guns CAN jam, and in Call of Duty they can't.

Yeah, but if you hold it properly, your pinky can slip into the breech while its firing, and having that ****** slam closed on you is a real bitch. My grandpa bitched about those things when he saw me playing CoD 2.

The idea was to grip it by the slope of the lower receiver. In practice the soldiers didn't used that technique because it's not very useful for recoil control.
The jerries made some clones of the Sten during WWII called the MP 3008. Those had a more normal magazine well placed below the receiver.

I know that the suppressor on the Mark IIS is integral to the barrel, so my question is, as I see a separate model of the suppressor: If you will implement both variants of the Sten, will they be two separate guns, or the suppressor will be an attachment that will replace the standard barrel?
I would much rather go for the first option, make them two separate guns, but that share the same config file, being the Mark II the standar variant, and the Mark IIS a special, unique or very rare variant.
