Iron sights will likely always be a thing. Because they are the most simple, and cheapest way of lining up a shot. They also rarely fail.

It is as Wintercross said, ironsights are the simplest way to make reliable aiming device. The gun will come awith a holosight of course, and works with all Arma sights even now! I merely wanted to show the gun at its "basic" form. also you may have noticed the lack of grenade sight, which is intentional as the 23mm launcher is more a direct fire weapon. There may be a version with more conventional 40mm ballistic launcher which will in turn have proper angled sight.

I think the ingame camera needs to adjusted, it's not doing the weapon any justice. :S

I think he's using alt to look at the weapon so we can see it better.
If not there is effectively a problem as the end of the cannon is not centered with the middle of the screen.

Anyway I find it pretty nice atm ;p

Since you've liked the rifle so much I took a bit time to put it up an running in-game too!

It fits quite well already though the metal parts still need some more work. They came off little too light. Also gotta figure out what kind of metallic outlook I can produce with Arma materials.
