That's a common thing. On one of my monitors it's dark on the other it looks OK. In game you can tweak that with brightness/gamma controls or by raising hemi light.
I love how much more reaistically designed these areas are. Vanilla Stalker games always seemed... odd. Even when seeing photos of their real world locations something about the in-game locations seemed completely unrealistic, but these seem on par with the Arma level of realism in terms of level/geography design. Really awesome. Can't wait to see packs of mutants or Stalker patrols wandering through here.
Nice and lush! I just think the fog looks somewhat out of place? I don't know, could be because of my screen (ground looks really dark) Please do tell
Maybe the area is under a dark cloud? :D
Doesn't look at all like fog to me, just early morning sunlight trickling through the trees.
Yeah my macbook for some reason on max lighting still makes it darker, the ground is pitch black for me

Yes, this is true realism. Really. As if I would take a picture of the forest right before my door :D
This is reaction time test - if you have instantly spotted the heli, then maybe you will survive in the Zone. ;)
Nice one :)
Was wondering if I could shoot down the helli for supplies? Before another helli has time to react and get to the location of the downed one?

Damn, pics just keep getting better and better. Can't wait!
I like the fog over there!
Dat poppy flower. It's a shame FDL doesn't support some good aliasing.
