The nights in soc vanilla werent that bad, especially because the game is set in spring/june. During the summers in finland the nights are quite illuminated, actually the sun never sets, i dont know if its the same in ukraine, but because its below our country (a little bit to the south-east) it might be the same :P
anyway, sunsets are awesome
Nevermind about my comment, i just played vanilla stalker and waited for a night... it was horrible...
And yeah, at that time i didn't realise that ukraine wasn't in the north, my knowledge was bad then
