We sent out a big pack of old LA screenshots on r1 render to our fansite. Here is one shot, but for more, you should check: www.lost-alpha.com ! They (with KazakHD) are constantly updating the news section, there you can find more r1 render screens :) If you speak russian, or use google translator in chrome browser for instance, you can also read old flashbacks of the development of LA. Pretty interesting info, nothing new, but all old info is collected and re-presented pretty well with screens.

If I'm not wrong, r1 is DX8 (static lighting). Just imagine in DX9.

I'm not sure, but SoC don't have DX10/11.
DX10 was adding in Clear Sky, DX11 was poorly implemented into CoP.
So your right.
I runed CoP on all ultra DX11. It was looking like ultrabright Desert Hunter xD No, Desert Hunter is nice, but CoP's Zaton looking like mix of desert and ****.
I love R1 since it's most "calm" render, without any "pop screen effects".

thi is soooo beautiful, I'll play FDL first, but I will definately play it on Static Lightning again then, this is soooo amazing *;D
maybe you should arrange the registration process a bit better for your site. I just filled it in to the best of my ability and then submitted it and it just went back to an empty form without telling me why it disallowed my last application so I try again and it does the same thing.
With it not giving a reason why how am I meant to know what is wrong with my registration form, all I can do is give up after several attempts.
