(my mate's comment on this: yea, its always easier to put a sign somewhere and inform the peeps about some caution, than fix the problem itself... just as in real life :D j/k)

its because the ceiling is real low, so sometimes you need to crouch to be able to walk. just like the stairway in 1935 build, yantar underground... plus we are funny people :D

Because its a hungarian export stuff, directly to the Zone.
Yup, they didnt like that, because its not in ukranian, but we had a quite good marketing so they bought one thousand sign like this. Full of win :D
But where the low ceiling is the biggest enemy, you have to know it :3

Few stalkers are wenting in that labaratory, they founds "RADIATION!" sign and try to run away, but there is too low ceiling... xD
Dezowave knows that they are douing, if they maked new PDA and PCs, then I gonna to shut up!
Well radiation is common place in the zone, and the labs were built before there were any major radiation hazards down there.
Noooo... Lots of labs were maked AFTER disaster, because in Chernobil Zone still little amount of people + in labs always used radioactive devices (X-RAY and other), so even in original SoC in X-18 lab is "ОСТОРОЖНО РАДИАЦИЯ" and broken radioactive device, that is REALLY radioactive!
I know that, I mean the second event, when the zone as we know it in stalker formed. Before then, people still worked in the zone relatively safely.
Its great to have signs that don't just say "Danger Radiation!" besides people who can't read russian or ukrianian won't care ;)
I reckon there ought to be a sign that says "brrrbbrrrbbbrrbrbrbrr" lol :)

Dunno about the sign, but the textures are great! And the ambient lightning is better than what I first thought they would be (dx8 and all), I mean they are great and ... wow the nightmares I will have!
Please put some nice scripted (or non scripted if you can) scares in those labs :D! Makes for a nice little discussion on the forums about how hard we shat our pants through those sections :DDD!

Also dez, can you please make poltergeist's telekinesis attacks more lethal, like in CS and CoP? That would be epic.
Yeh i thought that poltergeists seemed a little left out in stalker as it was really rare to find them anywhere.
I hope lost alphas poltergeists will be the old versions from a previous build where they materialise and crawl on the floor and try to claw you - plus the old sounds.
There is no way to remake the signs from russian onto ukrainian. You know why - 'cause Nuclear Power Plant of Chernobyl has been built by workers of United Soviet Socialist Republics - e.g. by russians, neither ukrainians. So...
You can hear some ukrainian swears in a game, of course. You can even find some ukrainian Playboys =) But anything created in USSR...anything...HAS to be in russian. That is all =)
P.S.: By the way - a signs like this are being in power plant near the Saint-Petersburg, in the Sosnovy Bor Power Plant. The signs about stairs, sticky floor..
