The game won't run. The process starts and then ends after a second with no error message. I've tried extracting the data.dat file, renaming the original data.dat file; applying the patch went OK, but the game won't run. Tried to rename the file back, no change. Tried to erase the original file and packing data folder to data.dat store only archive, alas to no avail. I'm on win10.
1.In game folder create folder name ''Data''
2.Rename file ''data.dat'' in ''data.zip'' or open Winrar
3.Extract all folder in archive to data folder
4.Delete Data.dat Or change name (For example to dataold.dat)
5 Install Mod Enjoy!!!
That didn't work for me. What worked instead was to crate a Data folder and extract the contents of Daata.dat in the folder then apply the patch and then rename Data.dat back. This seems to make the game work otherwise I get errors that files are missing (1.1 btw).
There is still a problem though. With the Widescreen mod whenever I enter Eduardo's Blacksmith shop it seems to actually glitch out and sends you to a locatin called ''no dat location'' and it looks like this: Imgur.com
I have the same issue with Eduardo's Blacksmith shop after applying the widescreen patch. Despite trying to patch with different resolutions I always run into this problem. Were you ever able to find a fix for this glitch?

to run it on windows 8 you need to rightclick the exe and chose 'Troubleshooting Compatibility' otherwise it wont run, also you cant change compatibility settings in properties of the file for so reason

It works now however i got a weird clipping issue ... Is it supposed to be like this?

try to turn off anti aliasing(AA,FSAA,FXAA,etc) in Nvidia Control Pannel or Catalyst Center Pannel for this game
Anti aliasing is already off... any other idea? I have ati radeon 5670 hd if that helps...
