Oh no! Now I must have been confusing you guys (and now dissapointing, too). I have only uploaded the fully patched version since we've always had to download V.3 + the patch seperately.
To avoid confusion I shouldn't have added the "2018" to the name.
I think a few people have never patched the version3 to latest "revision5".
But I'd love to keep this mod going.

This project has come to a stop since everything became old about it and most people have lost interest...jumped on other games... well including me.
But I remember it was such a good time to work on the mod and play with the people. Hah...even playing with the bots is fun. :-P It would have been ultra cool if I could ever find a super good programmer for this project, to fine tune a few things. Or how about some modellers and mappers who could do some more remakes of Red Faction maps and stuff ... :o
Mars Wars is always fun to come back to from time to time. Since there's been no activity or updates for a couple of years, I kinda understand it's time to move on to other games.

I have question about development Mars Wars, interesting, do you extracted animations from Red Faction, or you reanimated them from scratch? I also remember what Mars Wars have Uzi weapon and unfinished AR from Red Faction 2, question is its possible to extract weapon animations, not just models from Red Faction 2? I already managed to extract models with animations from various games and port them into Half-Life as modder resource, like C&C Renegade and some other games, and wanted to get cool Red Faction 2 guns, but I didn't found any 3d software tools for Red Faction games which supports both models and animations, and I have no animating skills to recreate animation.

When i try to start it with the Mars Wars launcher, nothing happens. Hwen i try to start it with the Ut2004.exe all the menus are messed up.

really love this mod but, is there any way to manually take the playermodels files from this mod and put to work with the original ut2004? i tried seaching looking by the names inside the mod folder guessing that would might be the models i was looking for and i think i found some because in the player menu selection the redfaction icons and the 3D models showed up but when i start the game with the redfaction models itself it doesnt work i guess its because maybe i could not find and missed some texture files? if someone can lend me a hand with this would be appreciated i really want to play ballistic weapons mod with redfaction playermodels.
