The Legion Expansion is Planetary Annihilation's first fully 3rd party faction modification. Adding in the Imperial Legion, a fully compatible, AI capable set of units and buildings to enhance the experience of PA. This mod exists due to the communities wish for a second fully realized army to conquer the galaxy with. PA is nothing without its cooperative teamplay on large systems. The Legion is fully compatible with simultaneous team games and comes with a modified Queller AI, allowing offline skirmish play. The Legion comes with its own set of commanders that grant the controlling player access to the Legion unit set. Simply select either commander in the lobby and deploy! A special thanks to those who have offered support and followed this mod from conception to its current state, on behalf of the entire team we hope that you will enjoy our work.

Numerous balance adjustments including big fixes for the Firebird and Loki. Note that AI Commander model selection is broken in this release and we're working to fix it.

  • Update Legion Intro button to display correctly in 112474 and later
  • Removed custom FX from the Rockteeth Commander

  • All unit descriptions overhauled for accuracy and clarity
  • Updated translations will be provided as they become available

Balance

  • Air
    • Firebird
      • Removed target priorities
    • Osprey
      • Movement increased from 70 to 80
  • Commanders
    • Rockteeth
      • Removed custom weapons so that it is using the exact same weapon stats as all other Commanders
  • Land
    • Praetorian
      • Decreased health from 10000 to 8000
  • Orbital
    • Kosmos
      • Able to shoot sea surface targets in addition to land
  • Titans
    • Loki
      • Lowered shot velocity and increased tracking to improve accuracy

Fixes

  • Firebird can now fire its long-range weapon

  • You cannot pick which Commander model the AI will use only which faction it will play as
