Set during the torrid backdrop of the Third Gulf War in 2010, the continuing war on terror has escalated into a new form of horror.
In an effort to strengthen their attacks against the monolithic American war machine, the insurgents have forcibly secured the assistance of a major pharmaceutical company operating in that area and have developed a new kind of terrorism. Bio-terror.
The drug induced mutation process was quite a success for the insurgents, with their soldiers gaining the ability to heal rapidly against bullet fire, and literally immune to all forms of chemical weapons.
In Left Behind, you play as an elite group of soldiers, crash-landing in an evacuating Blackhawk right in the heart of the very region where the mutated insurgents are let loose. Stranded, with no communications equipment, and only the ammunition carried on your backs, you need to shoot, slay and slaughter your way ahead to a viable SNR location. There will be no backup, no help, and no hope, for you have been Left Behind.

Current developers says hi! The whole concept and pics on this site is 100% outdated. Don't search for the orig mod files, they are no good!
We currently plan on a gameplay with zombies contra humans, with very few vehicles (basically only HUMVEE and an occasional UH60). Humans will be equipped with a variety of cool custom MG's and shotguns, all of them are top-tuned for zombie extermination. Zombies will be only kill you in close range, or suddenly self-combust resulting in a blast of blood and limbs, killing you instantly.
You can await a very cool gameplay in a mod where zombies appear around every corner, and can out-run you if you don't watch out.

As a side note IzraBF2 is no longer a developer on Last Humans mod! Current devs are GroovyDawg, TNE26 and the devteam newcomer: red.murder1.
