Left 4 Theft is a major/total modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The mod is slightly based on Left 4 Dead and will bring you the zombie apocalypse in San Andreas. Fight off zombies, explore the infected world, join factions and a lot more!

Report RSS Weekly Update #3 (Week 48)

Not a lot of progress this week, I was pretty busy with other stuff but nonetheless I made along with a new team member, smallcombe, some progress.

Posted by on

Major changes

  • New animations for zombies, they will now run and attack in a different way. Also the witch has her own animation. (credit to smallcombe)
  • Finished the first survivor mission.

Minor changes

  • Fixed small bugs in the faction system.

Suggestions

  • GianCarloF has sent me a message this week with a suggestion. A small part of this suggestion was becoming the faction leader of the joined faction. I personally think this has a lot of potential. By doing the missions (storyline) of the respective faction you'll eventually become the leader of the faction. This will give you certain extra features like calling in help or unlocking a special weapon. Anyway, what do you guys think about this idea? Post it in a comment below and share your opinion!

Other little thing I want to say is that smallcombe (Moddb.com) has joined the team. He is known for his helping hand for the mod GTA Raccoon City Stories (Moddb.com), a zombie modification for GTA Vice City. With his skills and ideas we'll get even more out of Left 4 Theft!

Love the idea could really be cool once you finally get up to leader though as for the feature to call in help maybe the strength of the soldiers you get will increase for example start out with civilians with bats and knives keep going get police with pistols do more missions get swat with shotguns finally get soldiers with assault rifles waiting until you hit the top to finally get support might drag it out this gives you a reason to keep going while still still making sure it doesn't take to long to get things started

I think you should do teritories like in the original SA, but here it will be army and bandits, maybe zombies. You should be able to take over the territories from opposite fractions and when you take more areas your homies get a better weapons or gain more health.

I think the scenario of the city destroyed, dirty cars, broken cars, barricades, trash on the floor would be great to give the "climate" of the game
