This is a compilation with rock/metal remixes of Doom's original songs composed by many community artists.
This repack is played properly e.g. in Crispy Doom as all tracks are resampled to the same 44.1 kHz sample rate, and the original Doom Metal pack had many tracks in 32 kHz which played buggily in Crispy Doom.
This is a compilation with rock/metal remixes of doom's original songs composed by many community artists (See the credits for info about the authors). This goes great with Brutal Doom and enhance it's violent atmosphere even more. This music pack aims to create a Metal experience. Every original midi song of the game has been replaced by remakes using real instruments.
Volume 5 improves the quality of some of the existing songs, adds new ones, and now features the songs of Final Doom TNT.
This repack is played properly e.g. in Crispy Doom (Github.com) as all tracks are resampled to the same 44.1 kHz sample rate, and the original Doom Metal pack has many tracks in 32 kHz which played buggily in Crispy Doom.

Guys help me, how can i listen those masterpieces on Doom 2? I've already tried to extract the folder on Doom 2, but the songs doesn't starts ;C
Write a BAT-file like crispy-doom.exe -merge DoomMetalVol5_44100.wad
I know I'm late to the party, but use ZDL. Just load the wad file prior to booting your source port of choice and enjoy the music.
Did you actually converted the files from lossless Files? Don´t want to sound rude, but if they were just MP3´s in the first place, then you just lowered the quality of them with this.
Someone else converted them from lossless, those were Vol.4 tracks that I just pasted to Vol.5 for the reason of sample rate.
Great !!!! ... This and "PSX soundtrack replacement (High Quality)" Moddb.com
and "Sepulcher Black Creepy Music Pack for Doom 1 and 2" Moddb.com
These are my favorites to play Brutal Doom ... Thanks for your great contribution
This file is kind of misleading. It's not just Doom Metal Volume 5 resampled to 44.1 khz, a bunch of the tracks are completely different.
Fixed the duplicate D_E2M2 lumps, removed the old OGG one.
For the different tracks: I inserted the D_SHAWN, D_STALKS, D_STLK2 and D_STLKS3 Vol4 44.1kHz versions that have just a little different tone from the Vol5 32 kHz versions.
Can you possibly make .mp3 version for lsitening?
Can you please make .mp3 version for listening?
Many Plutonia musics are not replaced, is it a bug?
That's an oversight of Brutal Doom itself, the map enhancement script.
This is sweet I can't wait for the full version with all the classic doom music! Not that I want you to rush I'm just excited because this is awesome!
Hallo, it rocks with GZDoom! Great work sound is awesome!!!
Does it work on Zandronum?
Yes.
Thank you.
Chingon!
Hello, I really love this soundtrack while playing BD, but I also want to play Complex Doom with the TNT and Plutonia IWADS with this soundtrack but only the DOOM 2 songs play. Is there a way I can fix it?
Edit: Now it happens while playing normal BD, all the songs are from DOOM 2 only, while playing TNT or Plutonia
