Lambda Wars (formerly Half-Life 2: Wars) brings the struggle between the human resistance and their Combine overlords to a multiplayer real-time strategy setting. The Lambda Wars beta only requires Alien Swarm installed to play. It features 3 multiplayer game modes: Sandbox, Annihilation and Overrun, showcasing the Rebels and Combine playable factions and a full-fledged RTS interface and HUD. There is also a singleplayer tutorial and a handful of singleplayer missions.

have you ever played RTS?
I'v ALWAYS wanted to have a strategy game, where you control a zombie army againts humanity. I think this is the best mod idea for HL2 EVER.
Keep the good work up. But make sure there are the 4 main 'teams'
Combines, Humans, Zombies, and Antlions. Or 2 teams: Aliens and Humans.
But seriosly, THIS mod rocks.

Gameplay looks very slick, I can certainly see this being a lot of fun to play. I hope those combine 'buildings' in the video are filler for the real thing, as right now they look an awful lot like train cars...

also, those antlions were getting pwned pretty hard! the combine guards were very, very good at defending. almost too good. but can they handle ranged attacks? kind of broken tho (firepower too strong maybe?). and don't forget about techs! you have an excellent idea heare! i never knew you could transform the Source engine into that!
at any rate, i LOVE RTS games and i WILL definitely play this game! i hope you complete this to the fullest extent possible.
no humans must not be 1 team 1 team is the resistance and other black mesa 3 teams works fine as well just look at c&c generals

That is awesome, if you added in a FPS mode too, that would be crazy, defend against the hordes that the RTS players send at you? Haha! :D

if they ever make a zombie team they must have a zombine ( the combine with the headcrab in ep1 i havent played ep2 but im sure they r in it)
cus he is just the best and they shud put a map where its every1 vs every1 ( that means everything) on a fun map

The aliens' AI isn't that great - they should attack in a more spread out formation than in a line behind each other. Also, how the hell are you supposed to kill those big things that pwnt your turrets? Don't think the soldiers are smart enough to strafe when it charges at them.
they shouldn't all rush either. set up some "preparation" variable containers or other code that tells the CPU to wait and prepare, then rush.
