Same problem. Gameinfo.txt looks normal for an SDK upgraded mod but it's not showing up in Steam games list.
All this mod needs is someone who has a sufficient understanding to construct an appropriate gameinfo.txt file for it. I do not have that skill, but I did manage to get it going via a workaround, see below, but with problems. What I have seen is a mod that is worth the effort to fix, if someone with the necessary skill is willing to invest the time.
Well I thought I had this fixed:
Replace the gameinfo.txt file with a copy of one THAT IS WORKING RIGHT from some other mod. Edit the line at the top:
game "Whatever Mod" to game "Lambda Incursion".
Restart Steam LI now shows up in the games list.
But the main menu does not have a "new game" or "load game" icon. Hmmmm. Maybe I can use the console to start the first map, and then use God mode to play straight through without ever getting killed.
Using the console to start the "background 1" map, I was able to play most of this mod before suffering a late game crash. With no ready access to saved games, I'm not playing it through all over again just to see if I can reach the end without another crash. There are some missing objects, giant glowing pink "ERROR"s, here and there, but not enough to make it too difficult to play. Gameplay, layout, atmosphere are all pretty decent actually. Too bad this is another mod for which the developer was willing to spend countless hours crafting a fun HL2 experience, but can't find 15 minutes to make sure it can be installed and played easily.
Managed to finish this by using console to call up the third map on which I had crashed; I loaded in fully equipped, and there are plenty of supplies laying around. Not a bad prison combat mod at all. Just needs a correct gameinfo.txt file put together by someone who knows what they are doing, so you don't have to resort to a workaround like I did.

I installed it to my SourceMods folder, had EP2 installed but it still doesn't show up in my Steam library, help? :<

Have "Node graph out of date, rebuilding......" or AI trouble...... how to fix it?
does not need fix. just wait a few seconds for this "rebuilding" (whatever) and then continue. happens in many mods.
