Here we'll be taking a look at an early preview of the (still work-in-progress) naval battles.
You'll fight these actions when at sea and engaging with an enemy, or coming to the rescue of an ally. Presently it's just frigate to frigate action, but in the future we hope to add both smaller and larger ships which the player can purchase and use to bear down on their enemy with roaring boardsides.
In these screenshots you can see a small naval action where British Royal Marines are firing musket-volleys to clear the enemy deck before the brutal and merciless (as boarding actions nearly always are) boarding action occurs.

Cool but Pirates&Fishmod mod have real navel battles Overhead with cannons and then boarding while this only includes boarding.
Unfortunately, Pirates & Fishmod is long dead, and was made by an expert coder, which I am not.
I will, however, strive to make the naval battles more than just boarding.
Can't you look in their code to see how they done it?

How much of the ship can be accessed in the battle? Just the main and quarter deck or the gun decks as well?

when i try and join a ship battle it always says the wind blows away from the battle. Your ship cannot close. What can I do?
