This is the page for the Expanded Galaxy Project consisting of the Exiles Expanded Galaxy and Revans Eternal Empire a follow up mod to the mod I am currently working on the Exiles Expanded Galaxy for K2 which is a similar mod to this in that it ports all of the maps and modules from one game to the other.
Beta files for K1 to K2 beta & modders resource, you will need to read the readme, if you wish to re-construct or edit any modules in the mod you will need to download the resource file as well, please give credit if you do so.
This is the Beta for the K1 to K2 Exiles Expanded Galaxy Project as well as the files for the modders resource, if you wish to edit any of the modules you will also need the resource files below this download.
You will need to have cheats activated for this to work and read the readme that is below.
V0_2_5 Exiles Expanded Galaxy Project Beta & Template
All modules can only be warped to via the console in both games ( type "warp end_m01aa" K2 or "warp 151har" K1 )
1 : some doors not open I will be editing every door again over the course of creating the story ( so dont worry )
2 : warp only - some transitions work some do not if you enter a transition that does not just warp anyway
3 : most doors in the K2 to K1 mod will most likely not open due to lack of editing, so you might want to delete the
.dwk files by doing a search in the override folder for "*.dwk*" and letting the search finish then deleting all of those
files with ctrl + a then delete, this will enable you to walk through all the doors
4 : For testing purposes I have inclued the sounds and music, but when I release an installer I will reduce the size by making
it extract the relevant files from each game and install accordingly, though this will not apply to the map conversion due to
time problems and errors in the conversion.
5 : I have already noted visual errors on tat_m17aa the white spaceships in the sky
6 : Please let me know your thoughts on both mods and keep up to date on the ModDB page.
7 : Some maps for the K2 to K1 mod will not work these will be the Telos Restoration Zone maps, Dxun and Dantooine.
8 : Let me know any other major visual errors you encounter.
