Thanks, Valve. Last Source update seems to have really messed up our mod. There are a whole bunch of problems that have been caused, some of which I quite frankly have no idea how to fix. I'm looking into it - if anyone wants to lend a hand, please, please jump in.
Although this would be a perfect opportunity to actually fix a bunch of other stuff whilst I'm at it, basically work is crazy at the moment and I just don't have time. Eventually, I hope we will rebuild the mod and take care of a lot of the problems that have been thrown up - I hope sometime towards the end of the year, but in the meantime, please bear with us, and if anyone figures out any fixes - or has had similar problems - please send them over.

I was honestly just about to play it for the first time :'(
Ugh, according to Podcast 17, what you have to do is go the to the gameinfo txt or what's it's name, and change the mod from Half-Life 2 to the Source SDK base or something like that. That's the fix, I got it from 84th epidode of Podcast 17.
I truly hope you can salvage your work. A really sweet little kick in the *** from the boys at Valve. Your certainly not alone !
The gameinfo modification doesn't work. I tried it on the day the source update came out, along with couple other fixes. I actually got the game to run, which was still better than nothing, but ep2 didn't mount, which meant that there was errors and missing textures all around the place.
The second edit in that link by Varsity might do it though.

Damn... this sucks! I was halfway through the game and put it down for a bit, and I guess steam updated between then. Was hoping to pick it back up but then it crashed. Best of luck with getting it fixed!
