There's a full city to be made. Liberty City, set in the 20's will be a welcome design challenge. The city is based on 1920's New York and following GTA tradition will be named Liberty City. It will be approximately double the size of the first island From GTA3. All the content is being created from scratch for this project and the aim is to change as much of the game as possible in order to differentiate itself from the GTA franchise.

Most of the work that has been done over recent weeks has involved plot and storyline elements. The structure and events have been well thought out to provide an interesting and dynamic story line for the player to become immersed in. The story consists of two parallel narratives giving the player choice over which path they will take. These separate stories interlink but are completely opposite. However there will be no prompting the player when there is a choice to be made. This is important because if the player is made aware of a choice then they think about it too much. If they remain unaware of it on the other hand then they naturally make the choice that suits them. This increases the replay ability because many different routes can be taken through the game.

There will be much more news coming soon. Images and videos of the progress will be posted up as it is created. Also tech demos showing the development and testing of various features. So there is a lot to look forward to.
