I spy what appears to be Heavy spear auxillaries, "Cohors Validvm Avxiliarivm" and Eastern Auxillary archers(Cohors Sagittariorvm Levantinorvm). dunno if either are new. The blue guys remind me of Urban Cohorts from RTW^^, evocati?

The light chaps could either be Auxillaries or what one could call "Town watch" - Vigiles.

Well done! The Syrian Auxiliary archers are new and although you didn't correctly name the lightly armed soldiers here, you did mention vigiles, who are the lightly armed soldiers in the other picture, so I'll give you that one as well. The heavy spear auxiliaries are new but they were already identified by BogdanM. The blue soldiers are Praetorians, they are new to this mod, but not to to this update (as they were in the previous update).

As three units and the building have been named, I'll now upload the pic with the Roman Republican-era units. All that needs to be identified now in order for me to reveal the Egyptian buildings is the lightly armed skirmishers in this image. Remember, they are neither auxiliaries nor vigiles.

Yay! Well in that case I'd guess Ferentari.

No, not Ferentari. These skirmishers are from the early imperial era.

Yeah it probably would be cheating as you have access to their entire unit roster. Thanks for your compliments.

I would assume mercenary Thureophoroi? Though there is a lack of linothorax from what I can see.

No, not Thureophoroi. I'll give you one more hint: this post-Marian unit is made up of legionaries specially trained to fight outside of the battle formation. Also, note that they have capes and one variation has a breastplate.

Congratulations, you got it! And because all four units and the building have been correctly named, I'll upload a pic of the Egyptian buildings as soon as possible.

Description

One of Rome's greatest enemies was itself. The history of the Roman Republic and Empire is filled with rebellions, revolts and civil wars. This political fragmention is represented in Kings and Conquerors by the appearance of multiple sub-factions that come under the Roman Empire, such as Roman Greece, Roman Egypt and Roman Italy. It's your choice what sort of diplomatic relationship they'll have in game.

These two images also show some new Roman units and buildings that have been completed since the last update. Can you find and name them all? Here's a hint: there are four new units and one new building.

And the rewards: if three are named correctly, I'll reveal some more Roman Republican-era units and if all five are named correctly, I'll reveal the Roman units and Uthum's brilliant Egyptian building set, which is definitely worth seeing. The same person doesn't need to name them all correctly so for instance if one person gets the first two and another gets the other three, then I'll still upload the images.

Good luck!
