Impressive work. Makes me a bit guilty about the backlog though.

Thank you very much! Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a way to include custom formations, so you have to manually form the phalanx by putting your units in the stand ground stance. Then to get your units into blocks like in the picture, select the units, right-click and hold and then scroll your mousewheel. Unit recruitment will remain the same, so in most cases units will contain three soldiers.

That reminds me: I noticed that universities and libraries are absent for the Romans - do the Greeks get universities and libraries too, or will they follow the Romans in that there are no scholars?

The library, university and scholar have been renamed for all factions, though there is no functional difference.

Description

The Agema Phalangitai are some of Macedon's most experienced and able soldiers. With their heavy armour and sarissas they can take on almost anything when they are in formation. You certainly won't want to send your cavalry at them head on.

To defeat these soldiers it is best to use a mix of ranged units, who can disrupt their formation, and swordsmen, who have an advantage in one on one combat.
