Killing Floor is a survival horror total conversion set in London, England. In a laboratory under the city, a series of human experiments in cloning and biological augmentation are being conducted by the employees of "Horizon". Horizon is a BioTech corporation formerly employed by the government to do the R&D on a top secret series of synthetic combat drugs which would enhance the effectiveness of soldiers in the field. Horizon's funding was cut, when their practices were deemed too immoral even for such a controversial project, but the research didn't stop. Funded by private money from the deep pockets of Horizon chairman and research scientist Kevin Clamely, tests continued in a more...private location. That was until something went wrong. There were reports that the lab had been comprimised; that the subjects were behaving abnormally...then, silence. Several days later, twisted shapes began to emerge from the confines of the lab into the city above.

A fan patch for KFMod including all of the cut/unreleased content in version 2.51!

Hey everyone! So a couple of years ago I said that I'll start modding and finishing up a new version of Killing Floor Mod. I have to apologize for taking so long, but I had some stuff to do and was quite inexperienced at the time. As of now, I do believe I can improve Killing Floor Mod and release newer patches for fans and the small community that is still here. Anyway, let's get to the meat of this topic!

During the year 2017, someone has given me a patch for Killing Floor Mod Version 2.51, which, If you'd like to download with all of the mod versions released so far(excluding the early demo), you can do so by following this video tutorial Here! With this version, I have found quite a lot of interesting things including new perks, improved Gunpound(Fleshpound with a minigun) behavior, a new texture for the Gunpound, a new main menu screen as well as 2 new perks: Firebug and the Sergeant. I have properly implemented all of these perks into the game for use(which wasn't difficult at all actually) as well as the new Gunpound texture. You can see all of this Here!

While all of this looks cool(doesn't it?), I have decided to hold off releasing this as I'd love to fix some bugs within the game while adding in additional improvements of my own. Not to worry though! The improvements will not touch anything major and will be just as they are, improvements. I'd like to list the current improvements I've done thus far in a bulleted list here:

  • Moving the Handcannon to slot 2
  • Moved the Bullpup to slot 3
  • Weapon prioritization has been changed to be in this order:
  • Slot 1: Knife < Pipe < Axe
  • Slot 2: 9mm < Dual 9mms < Deagle
  • Slot 3: Flamethrower < Winchester < Shotgun < Bullpup
  • Slot 4: L.A.W < Crossbow < Super Shotgun
  • Slot 5: Welder < Syringe
  • Crawler no longer constantly rotates in random directions and will face towards the player it is targetting, similar to KF1

And that is all about the improvements that have been added in. As for when will this version drop? Tomorrow actually. I would have liked to delay it a bit more just so I can add the rest of the improvements, however, I will be travelling for Summer and returning home on the 10th of August. While not having enough time to add the rest of the improvements, I will try my best to add in the last little ones. As for what I have in store for version 2.54? I'll share that at another time. Ok, its a bummer that KF Mod got one more patch/update xp
But I wonder; are you fix graphic artifacts/bugs on high end PC's?

I think that's dependant on your GPU(whether it's AMD or Nvidia). If you get any of these bugs, typing "Flush" in the console or alt tabbing out and in should most likely fix them as far as I know.

Either way this patch is for KF 2.52?

It's a patch for 2.5 but I released it as a full version so you don't actually need to replace any files. I dislike 2.52 as that version has plenty of bugs with no new patch ever released to fix it(bloat vomit not working, perk statistics completely wrong, etc.). You can just download the 2.53 rar and drop the KFMod253 in the UT2004 folder

Actually there was suppose to be another patch/version(2.53 or 3.00) but TI contact creator and tell him to stop work on it.

No problem dude, when I release 2.54 it'll hopefully be even better than 2.51 by offering a lot more fixes/improvements and some changes or some other cut content. I think there'll just be 2 updates that'll be somewhat big for KFMod before I'm done and move onto the retail KF.

Looks good. But I noticed a few glitches. 1 - the specimens tend to fight each other. Sometimes I just had to watch them kill each other. 2 - the big boss shoots but no bullet fires come out of the gatling gun. Same with the fleshpounds modified.

The opening menu display is something else!

Which specimens? I only know that with 2.51 beta, the Siren scream can damage other zeds and of course the gunpounds bullets too, which causes the fights. Is there anymore?

What's about Crossbow ? Because on the 1.52 that weapon is not powerfull and useless.
