An unfinished mod of an already existing mod, this is a tweaked version of the Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod for Medieval 2: Total War. A few changes involve adding merc cogs to America, making a Sunset Invasion possible, a few new buildings, a new religion for Wales, new units, stat edits, reduced building time, new menu, map and battle music, and an incomplete faction addition: The Assyrians. A project I did myself for fun, I quickly got burned out after constant crashing, texture errors, and days of troubleshooting. Ultimately I was unable to finish the Assyrians, but the new buildings and religion work fine. Just a little something for fun.

Great mod! Thanks for this.
But in future i advice you to improve Assyrians and make them more UI elements or maybe even new units (vanilla units with new textures maybe).

a few suggestions:change the byizantine units to konemian units like the ones from the Standalone Komnenian Unit Roster Mod,Das Heilige Römische Reich mod or the regions and provinces mod,add georgian kingdom instead of assyrian,take a look at the battleaxe classic mod,it is far more stable than the other battleaxe mod so i who knows maybe georgia wont crash the mod,also add the campaign map textures from the region and province mods that dark green grass would look beautiful at this mod

AvalancheO add bulgaria in a next version from the battleaxe mod instead of assyrians,they are finished and will make great rivals for the bizantine

I downloaded Battleaxe and checked it out. It's a great idea and I tried to implement it but for some reason after hours and hours of trying to add them the game wouldn't stop crashing on startup. Battleaxe has some large gameplay changes that affect the units, so I'm not sure if that's the problem. I've wasted days trying to get it to work and I'm burned out on it. Sorry.

If you want to give it a try yourself, you could take this mod and upload it with Bulgaria in it, you've got full permission to use it however you want. Or you could hand it to me and I'd upload it as an update.

It CTD both when i start a campaign and when i select a faction in the faction selection screen 4 times.

Yeah, so there's some sort of issue where if you pick more than three factions, the next time you click on a faction it crashes. I'm fairly sure it was an issue in the original KGC mod. I haven't had a crash on campaign start though.

actually this is quite commom in a lot of mods,if anything you should always click once on the desired faction and go play it
