Contains 2 pk3: One for Zandronum and one for GZD/LZD Doom and both clearly named. Just load your preferred. The Zandronum version works on ZDoom 2.8 and any other version of GZDoom or LZDoom as well.
*** Please note that Extra Gore does affect Archvile revive ability if monsters die to rockets(extreme death), chainsaw(extreme death), Plasma(fire damage), or BFG(for damage).
This is an update and unified download version for both versions of Code Zleek Doom.
Both versions are identical except for minor graphical differences instituted on Gore rendering to account for source port engine compatibility differences.
Code Zleek Doom is 99.9% Code Only generated eye candy to make Vanilla Doom gameplay more fun. This is what I call a Smooth Doom clone in the aspect that it keeps Doom vanilla play 100% intact and is nothing more than eye candy on a robust level. In this case it is Code script generated only. This mod also works with FreeDoom as well with zero problems!
List of Eye Candy improvements generated by Code Only means:
1.Smooth Weapon animations
2.Smooth monster animations, death animations
3.Alternative death animations by adding extreme deaths to monsters and Fire Death animations that are triggered by Plasma weapons. Chainsaw will GIB all monsters on death.
4.Blood and gore!!! Including giblets from explosion deaths
5.Water splashes and other liquid splashes all made from Code Only!( modified Splash.Pk3 by Enjay
6.Bullet Tracers from all Bullets from enemies and players!
7.Bullet casings and Shell casings from All Zombies and Player weapons.
8.Splash sounds from Splash.pk3 kept so as not to break immersion. Unfortunately Doom and FreeDoom stock assets have no good liquid type splash sounds.
9.GLDEfs added and modified to make everything light that should be lit. Supplied by Zandronum DoomDefs
