Jedi Knight Galaxies is an immersive, competitive and innovative multiplayer shooter, played out in the Star Wars universe. Currently a full conversion mod (soon to go standalone), the project was originally based on and modified from Raven Software’s Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Jedi Knight Galaxies is available completely free of charge. We aim to develop the project into a Large Multiplayer Online game, crossing traditional RPG (role playing game) elements with the fast paced excitement of an FPS (first person shooter). The game is supported by its community and developers, contribution is encouraged and newbies are welcome. The current development team comes from a variety of backgrounds, countries, and age, united by our desire to make a great game. Welcome to Jedi Knight Galaxies, where we break the limits!

I don't know where you're getting a release date from but I can tell you we can't say for certain when a release is coming, just that we're working hard to get something out to you guys. As much as I know you guys want beta (believe me, I do too!) I'd appreciate if you guys stopped asking for it, if we released what we have now there would be so many core elements missing that it wouldn't be nearly as fun for you guys if we waited until it was ready to play.

Agreed I can wait, in fact I want to wait and get a better game then playing an incomplete game with entire story lines cut out.

This could be a funny spoof on the 9-11 conspiracy planting mines at the same time the planes crashed into the towers to blow it up XD

After reading the article I feel I ought to point out that this looks much more like an IM Mine than a sequencer charge.

Do yer research. :P I've sure done mine, and the sequencer charge was actually made to resemble the I.M. mines from DF. We went for an in-between of the really low detail model in JK and the drawing (http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/5/5b/Sequencer_charge.png) from one of the tech books.

Why does the mine have to look so angry? Why can't it be a happy mine? :)
