Apologies: we are sorry to our loyal followers who have been kept in the dark for awhile. Our lead developer has been on-leave due to university. Now that summer approaches, free-time ensues and we're able to continue. Fear not, our determination towards this mod remains.
Rebranding: Open Jedi Project: Roleplay Edition will rename to Jedi Master Project. Because we will no longer be using Open Jedi Project (after spending much effort, porting it to OpenJK) combat systems. However, we will be making a new directional-based combat system that reflects the quality and realism of OJP combat. We're currently in the phase of exploring directional combat, specifically manual blocking. Some OJRP tidbits will be used to some extent, but not for the most part in terms of combat.
Single Player: Jedi Master Project, as a title, was inspired by our new collective vision: continuing on from the Jedi Knight Series storyline. A possible single player mode is in the thought-tank, after multi-player is finalized. Multi-player is our core goal, of course.
Collaborations: We will be sharing and exchanging new and exciting features with the likes of Jedi Knight: Enhanced and Star Wars: Warzone Mod. This includes (possibly) HD weapons, HD textures, better overall graphics enhancements, foliage, AI, inventory and much more.
Continuity: Besides the details above, all of our goals within OJRP still stand. We still continue on with the same purpose as before - just with more features and higher goals.
Jedi Knight was a long time ago. It's time to ascend to Masterhood.
