So far I have been working on mods the last... four months (Perhaps less) and I have created three mods. In my last mod (Danish Viking Units) I challenged myself with starting working on 3D models and texturing. Now after that mod is done I wanted to start a big project which I decided to be Iron Hill Dwarves from the movie The Hobbit 3: Battle of the five armies. To you guys who just LOVE the Tolkien Universe or just LOVE The Hobbit I am sorry, but this mod is not going to be 100% accurate at all. This mod is going to cotain some models and textures that I have created and thought would look cool (This means that weapons) I have done some research when it comes to Iron Hill Dwarves gear. Some of it easy to find and some of it... Impossible. (Which means I have created the model 100% without anything) The armor parts is going to be as accurate as possible.
So I have now tried for a month perhaps two. And even though I ******* hate to admit it I have to face the truth that either it can't be done or I not even close to be talented enough to pull it off.
I have tried CAT skeleton (Not feline), I have tried a skeleton that should have been taken directly from Rome 2 but without animations. I have tried to make my own skeleton for the boar, skinning it (Make the bones attached to body parts) and even start on making animations for it.
The game won't accept the custome build stuff like that. Specially not Rome 2 because it's as strict as it is.
I have talked with animators far more skilled than I am with animations and modding who told me I can't be done without entering something REALLY complicated.
So I am so sorry for letting you guys down with this boar idea. I truely hoped I could pull it off to make you guys go "WOAH! Thats such a cool mod!" and be impressed by it. But I can't .
So I have deleted the boar pictures from the mod and I call the idea of the boar mount dead.
I might return and look at it from time to time just to see if people out there might have discovered something, but for now this mod is 100% done and I will start modelling for the Narnia mod again hope you guys aren't too dissapointed with me. Trust me there is no one as dissapointed as I am right now.
R.I.P Boar you shall be missed... then eaten for dinner.
can't you just put horses but the textures of the boars?
Nope that was the first thing I tried, but the model has to have animations attached to the model.
you have yet to disappoint me. You managed to put an entire different race(dwarves) which really amazed me. The boar idea was just a bonus for me but if it doesn't work, oh well. I'am happy and you have made me very proud to say this mod is awesome!

Thank you DevilanceFo2. Its just you have worked on it for so long and really hoped it would end up as something more you know. Where you guys could have got that special extra thing.
